FootcareUK is a directory service only. We are not a healthcare provider, medical practice or clinical advisory service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

2. Use of the website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable UK or international laws
  • Transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without written permission
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
  • Post content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes the rights of others

3. Directory listings

For patients

  • We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of any listing
  • Listing on FootcareUK does not constitute an endorsement of any practitioner
  • Always verify current HCPC registration at hcpc-uk.org before booking
  • We are not responsible for the quality or outcome of any treatment

For practitioners

By submitting a listing, you agree that:

  • All information you provide is accurate and not misleading
  • You hold all relevant qualifications and registrations you claim to hold
  • You will notify us promptly of any changes to your registration status
  • We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion

4. Patient reviews

By submitting a review, you confirm that it is based on genuine personal experience and does not contain defamatory, offensive or misleading content. We moderate all reviews before publication and reserve the right to decline any review.

5. Intellectual property

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

7. Paid listings

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard with 30 days' notice
  • No refunds for part-used months except where required by law
  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. To exercise this right, contact listings@footcaredirectory.uk

8. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
