Search our directory of HCPC-registered podiatrists and foot health practitioners. Filter by location to find a specialist near you.

Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs) are trained specialists who provide routine and general foot care. While they are not regulated by the HCPC in the same way as podiatrists, qualified FHPs complete accredited training programmes and are skilled in the day-to-day maintenance and care of feet — particularly for patients who struggle to manage their own foot care at home.

A typical appointment with a Foot Health Practitioner includes nail cutting and filing, hard skin and callus removal, basic corn treatment, moisturising treatments for dry and cracked skin, and general foot health advice. Many FHPs offer home visits, making their services particularly accessible for elderly, disabled or housebound patients.

FHPs are clearly distinguished from HCPC-registered podiatrists on this directory. If you have a complex condition, diabetes, circulatory problems or require clinical procedures such as nail surgery, please search for a registered podiatrist instead. For general maintenance and routine care, an FHP is an excellent, often more affordable option.
